Monday June 10th, 2013 - Costume Day

There were so many different characters flooding into our classroom this morning! Everyone had a unique outfit portraying some of their favorite animals, role models and people. The children were excited to display their costumes and we decided this was a perfect time to have a parade through the other parts of our school. We visited many offices and recognized many of the people who work in our school including Polly, Rich, Debbie Stauffeur, Jason, Rosanne, and lots of teachers too! Their faces lit up as we smiled and played music in our parade procession through the hallways. We greeted everyone with an excited "Happy Costume Day!". The rainy weather outside did not hold us back from having a wonderful morning full of dramatic play exercising our wide imaginations with each other. We look forward to Surprise Day tomorrow! As our last day of school is on Wednesday, please look for your child's belongings including extra clothes and more to be sent home beginning tomorrow! We have had a fantastic year of fun together and are excited about the happenings that summer will bring for all of us.
